Will Schomberg

Miami AA Starting Pitcher

Quiet pedigree. Unrelenting pursuit

Biography

Will Schomberg is a right-handed pitcher in the Miami Marlins organization currently pitching at the Double-A level for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. An undrafted free agent out of Davidson College, he earned Atlantic 10 First Team honors in college and quickly established himself in pro ball with high strikeout totals and Pitcher of the Month recognition in 2024. In 2025 he has continued to show growth, including taking a perfect game bid into the late innings at Double-A, highlighting his competitive edge. Off the field, Will blends analytic preparation with a grounded, determined mindset — driven by process over flash. His glove design reflects that same focus: strategic, performance-oriented, and built for consistency
